Car Wash Crew Member

Purpose:
The purpose of the Crew Member is to delight our customers by delivering Clean, Shiny, and Dry cars through Superior Customer Service, Excellence, and Teamwork.


Key Activities:

1.	Check every customer’s vehicle before they enter the car wash to ensure that the vehicle does not have any visible safety issues.

2.	Facilitate the safe and speedy processing of customer’s vehicles by following the correct procedures for every vehicle through the car wash.

3.	Continually clean and maintain all areas of the car wash to ensure that the customers see a clean, attractive facility and site—keeping trash receptacles empty, parking lot swept, and towel and windex stations supplied.  

4.	Smile at customers whenever they are in eye contact and remember to give them the thumbs-up sign when they place their car in neutral.

5.	Continually learn about and perform routine maintenance on assigned car wash equipment. The first key to producing a good customer experience is to ensure that the equipment performs its intended function and does not cause damage or break down while the customer is in the tunnel.

6.	Perform minor equipment repairs and maintenance as trained and directed.  This includes power washing the trench, cleaning the pit, washing down the tunnel at the end of each day, keeping the walls, floor, and windows clean in the tunnel, and washing and replacing mitters, wraps, foamers, filters etc.

7.	Perform superior customer service whenever a customer asks a question or makes a comment.  Positive contact with Crew Members is important to the customers’ overall experience.  This includes being familiar with all products and services offered and the functioning of the auto pay stations and mat washing machines, so that questions can be answered quickly and accurately.

8.	Become proficient in fulfilling Unlimited Monthly Plans orders.  This includes explaining the process to customers, collecting appropriate customer information, being able to affix the RFID tags to customers’ windshields, and ensuring that the signed receipts and completed customer cards get entered into our database and filed appropriately.

Must LOVE working with people, be mechanically inclined, and have high physical energy.  Must enjoy working outside and have reliable transportation to/from work.  We train skills that are needed.$12.25 -$ 13.00
